Brown Kraft Paper
The same virgin kraft base left unbleached — natural brown, for food packaging that reads as unprocessed.
What it is.
Natural-colour kraft is the same paper without the bleaching stage. Buyers choose it for two reasons that pull in the same direction: an unbleached sheet is what a recycled-looking, low-intervention pack is supposed to look like, and skipping the bleach line takes a step out of the process.
It is specified the same way as the bleached grade — tensile and tear in both directions, Cobb for wet-load behaviour, odour held down for food contact. What changes is print: brown stock swallows light ink colours, so artwork designed for a white sheet does not transfer directly. Send the artwork with the enquiry if colour matters.
⚠️ On naming: this grade is natural unbleached kraft. Where a customer asks for "kraft brown" as a colour rather than a fibre, say so in the enquiry — dyed brown board and natural brown kraft are not the same product.
