Cotton-furnish carrier for double-sided tape — it has to hold adhesive on both faces without the two coatings meeting through the sheet.
What it is.
A double-sided tape carrier has an unusual requirement: it is coated on both sides with adhesive, and the two coatings must not find each other through the paper. That calls for a sheet that is closed enough to block strike-through, but still conformable enough that the finished tape follows a curved or irregular surface.
Cotton furnish gives that combination — conformability plus a tear behaviour that lets the tape be hand-torn cleanly rather than stretching and stringing.
Grammage and width are set against your coating line. Technical data and a batch test report are issued with each shipment.
