What it is.
A sterile medical pack has to do two contradictory things: let sterilising gas or steam in, and keep microorganisms out afterwards. That is what a dialysis paper is — a porous sheet with a controlled pore size, sealed against a film.
The PE self-adhesive grade is built to seal directly and quickly against polyethylene film with no separate adhesive step, which is what most pouch and lidding lines are set up for. Peel strength is specified high, because the seal has to survive transport, and the peel has to be clean — a seal that tears fibre when it is opened puts paper debris into a sterile field.
Air permeability and seal integrity are specified together. Tell us the film, the sealing temperature and the sterilisation method.
