Duplex Board with White Back
Coated board with a white face and a white reverse — for cartons where the inside of the pack is visible or has to read as clean.
What it is.
The only difference from a grey-back board is what the reverse costs to make: the back ply is white rather than recycled grey. You pay for it, so the question is whether anything in the pack's life actually shows that face — an opened carton on a shelf, a lid that folds back, a hygiene or pharmaceutical pack where a grey interior reads as dirty even when it is not.
Everything else is specified the same way as a grey-back board: coated top for print, stiffness for the carton, and converting behaviour agreed with the mill before the run. Coated white board is produced across roughly 250 to 450 g/m², with caliper rising with grammage and folding strength specified separately for machine and cross direction.
